Less than five weeks to go. I can hardly believe it. Seems like only days ago when our countdown was still at the 500 day mark... and now here we are, approximately a month out from d-day.
This photo is up to date from WhistlerBlackcomb.com - as you can see it's looking very much like winter up there. Good to see that there is already so much early season snowfall - and still a month out from official opening day. This is an amazing sign. And as our friend and host Leigh has said - it is going to be another La Nina year. That means epic epic snowfall. Yesssss.
So - Qantas are being dumb at the moment - cancelling all flights until they can get this Industrial action sorted out - part of our flight is with Qantas - you know - an important factor that we make it to Sydney so that we can connect with Air Canada. Looks like if they don't get their act together - Virgin Australia will be getting our business. I'm hoping it won't have to come to that as excess luggage is going to be crazy expensive... but whatever. As long as we get there.
