Day Eight - Science World, Gastown (and nerdiness in between)

Got up late. Whoops. Met up with the McCoys who are staying diagonally opposite us. :-) Grabbed a Pumpkin Spiced Latte on the way down to the Skytrain to Science World. Had a ton of fun doing all the science puzzles and seeing the exhibits down there, and then walked from Science World to Gastown, via a couple of things - 'Fatburger' and a couple of X-Files locations that happened to be along the way. Gastown is gorgeous and I really want to go back down there before we head back to Whistler - it is really gorgeous. Stopped at the most photographed spot in Vancouver (Gastown Steamclock) and the Flat Iron Building - then went down to Canada Place for a coffee, but we decided to head back to our hotel. Grabbed a couple of drinks and watched the end of the Canucks game (which they won, yeah!) and spent a few hours with the McCoys - Skyped with the Moynihans - and tried to work out what is in store for tomorrow - which we are still not 100% about - depends on the weather, which as most people know, can change dramatically.
